What is the Torridon Jacket?

The Torridon is a waterproof jacket made with reliable, waterproof Gore-Tex® technology. It's the perfect shell jacket for casual outdoor enthusiasts seeking something less techy and more versatile for hill walking, rambling, hiking, or even wearing around town when the heavens start to pour.

What is it made of?

The Torridon is constructed using three-layer 75D Gore-Tex® material, which comprises recycled polyester that is both lightweight and durable. It offers fully waterproof protection for wet days on the hill without compromising breathability to enhance temperature regulation.

What are its features?

A grown-on, fully adjustable hood provides ample protection and gives you plenty of room to fit a hoodie or beanie underneath. The hood has a wired peak and a roll-away tab to keep it neatly tucked away when not in use, preventing it from flapping around in the wind.

The two-way zip on the front provides plenty of options for ventilation and makes room for a climbing harness around the bottom, should you need it. A storm guard sits behind the zip to reinforce weather protection and help to stop water from seeping in if the zip is slightly open.

Multiple pockets give you plenty of storage options. Two zippered hand pockets are ideal for stashing gloves and trail snacks. There's also an inner stretch mesh pocket and an inner zipped stretch pocket which works well for valuables like car keys or a wallet.

Two-way pit zips enhance ventilation for more intense activities or humid days in the mountains, and a concealed drawcord waist adjuster helps you to optimise the fit.

Adjustable cuffs allow you to accommodate chunky gloves underneath and split hem drawcords cinch the bottom of the jacket to keep the breeze out.
