What is the Conduit Hoody?
The Conduit Hoody is a lightweight half-zip hoody made with recycled fleece. It's the perfect baselayer for winter climbing, mountaineering, scrambling or hiking through the mountains, as it offers plenty of coverage, warmth and breathability for intense activity in cold conditions.
What is it made of?
Rab has constructed the Conduit Hoody with Thermic™ G grid backer recycled polyester fleece. The fabric contains 92% polyester and 8% elastane, prioritising sustainability without compromising comfort and function.
The Thermic™ G fleece has a grid backer that helps trap warm air and reduce overall weight. Though insulative, Thermic™ G is breathable and can wick away moisture quickly, helping you feel fresher during intense mountain activity.
What are the features?
The hood is close fitting and slim enough to fit under a helmet, offering better protection on more exposed routes.
A lightweight half length zip offers easy entry alongside extra ventilation - simply unzip when you're getting too warm to draw in extra airflow.
Set in sleeves offer extra mobility around the shoulders and arms, with an underarm panel which allows more stretch for steep ascents and technical climbs.
Flatlocked seams help reduce bulk and improve comfort next to the skin, reducing the chance of chafing wearing the hoody for long periods. Finally, the hem is dropped, which improves warmth around the lower back and gives more coverage against changeable conditions.
