What is the Ovik Nordic Sweat?

What is it made of?
The Ovik Nordic Sweat is made of traceable wool that feels incredibly warm and soft against the skin and is reinforced with G1000 patches on the elbows.
Fjallraven has sourced the wool ethically - it's completely traceable, all the way back to the beginning of its journey. This wool is also mulesing-free, ensuring no unethical mulesing operations were carried out on animals to produce the material.
The G1000 Eco patches reinforce the elbows, adding durability to the jumper and helping prolong its lifespan to last for years.
G1000 Eco is one of Fjallraven's cornerstone materials. It uses a blend of 65% recycled polyester and 35% cotton, which is lightweight, ventilating and hardwearing.
G1000 materials can be adapted to different personal preferences or climatic conditions using Greenland Wax. The wax allows you to customise the fabric's properties, such as wind and water resistance and breathability.

What are its features?
The jumper has a jacquard knit that optimises insulation and heat retention and feels thick and cosy. The wool material wicks moisture away and can keep warm when it gets damp, so if you're working hard in the hills or get caught in a quick shower, it'll still help balance temperature and keep you feeling fresh.
