What are the Element Micro Crew Lightweight Running Socks?
They're lightweight yet comfortable cushioned running socks that use a combination of Merino wool's properties and Darn Tough's 'tech knit' construction to create unrivalled comfort and durability.
Although predominately designed for running, they're super versatile and can be worn for almost every outdoor adventure, from running to hiking, playing tennis, to casual everyday use.
What are they made from?
What makes the Darn Tough socks so different and so durable is the way they are constructed. The socks are made with high-density Merino wool, which provides supreme rebound cushioning. These densely woven fibres are packed so tight they cannot flatten and shear under use, allowing them to withstand a lifetime of use and remain superbly comfortable.
These socks primarily use merino wool, meaning they're warm, naturally odour-resistant and will wick away sweat during activity. With added Nylon and Lycra Spandex, these socks have increased strength, durability and stretch, so they can easily put in as many miles as you can.
What are their features?
Created in a micro crew design, these socks are around 7.5 inches from the heel to the cuff. Their performance fit helps prevent them from slipping down your feet or bunching under your shoes while running for the ball. The mesh panels on top of the foot give it an incredibly light, airy feel, but the cushion underneath is down to go the distance.
Darn Tough's new tech knit wraps the foot, providing a seamless construction, it feels like a second skin of Merino Wool for moisture-wicking, no-slip performance that never gets beat.
In true Darn Tough style, these lovely socks are still made at their VT-based Mills (Vermont, USA), honouring their brand heritage and ensuring traditional, ethical practices within their manufacturing process.
