What are the T2 Merino Hiker Eco Socks?
These are warm, technical socks constructed with sustainable, recycled fibres, designed to keep both your feet happy, and the planet too!
They're the perfect socks for longer days in the mountains, all-terrain hiking or even casual use during the winter.
What are they made of?
The T2 Merino Hiker Eco Socks use a blend of Red-cycled nylon materials and recovered wool to help reduce their carbon footprint without compromising function and durability.
Red-cycled nylon uses 100% recovered nylon (Econyl - made from recycled fishing nets), helping to minimise waste that may otherwise end up in landfill or get stuck in the bottom of our oceans. It's extremely strong and durable, and helps to improve the longevity of the socks whilst keeping them in place, preventing them from slipping down your feet.
Recovered wool is made with recycled post-industrial wool and recycled polyester for reinforcement. The combination of these yarns enhances the material's moisture wicking performance, helping to regulate temperature and manage sweat build-up to stop your feet from feeling clammy and uncomfortable as your body temperature rises.
What are their features?
These socks come in a handy two-pack to keep your tootsies fresh on multi-day adventures.
A flat knit toe seam reduces the bulk across the front end of your socks and stops your toes from getting irritated and itchy.
The sole is cushioned to give plenty of protection and support under the foot, making them ideal for three seasons (spring, autumn and winter) and cooler climates.
