What are the Tenacity Lite Pants?
They're outdoor trousers designed specifically with faster paced activities in mind. Whether fastpacking, fast-hiking or backpacking abroad, they will keep you comfortable and protected all day long, thanks to their durable, lightweight, wind and abrasion resistant material.
What are they made of?
These trousers are made with Granite Stretch Lite - a lighter version of the regular Granite Stretch fabric. It's both lightweight and highly abrasion and wind resistant, providing reliable protection against the elements and your surroundings without compromise. As you may have guessed, Granite Stretch Lite is super stretchy, making it ideal for steep ascents or more technical scrambles where you need a higher range of movement. It feels smooth against the skin and comfortable enough to wear for longer periods or multi-day trips.
The material is coated with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent), which enhances water resistance without using chemicals that are harsh to the environment.
What are their features?
Around the waist, an integrated webbing belt helps to keep everything in place and ensures you won't end up tripping over your own kecks.
The zipped fly helps to keep your bits and pieces inside your pants yet makes it easy to answer the call of nature when needed.
Two mesh pockets are ideal for storing small possessions yet double up nicely as extra ventilation if you're working up a sweat - simply leave them unzipped to allow airflow through the mesh bags.
You've also got a rear pocket that works better for bulkier items such as a mobile phone, wallet or GPS as it keeps them out of your way, ensuring they don't hinder your movement if you're stepping up high.
Articulated knees give your joints more flexibility and space. They sit more naturally on the leg to allow the joints to bend fully, which comes in handy when scrambling or taking on a steep ascent.
