What are the Terra Mission pants?
The Terra Mission pants are durable, weather resistant, exceptionally comfortable and all-rounded trousers designed for mountaineering and trekking, however they can be used for a wide range of other activities.
What are the Terra Mission pants made of?
Made using Montane's Granite Stretch fabric, the Terra's are highly durable and abrasion resistant, making them perfect for the rigours of mountaineering and multi-day treks. This fabric is primarily made using a high quality nylon and features a durable water repellent coating which will resist the rain and wind when exposed to the elements. Granite Stretch is then used in areas which require a greater range of motion, while Cordura reinforcements are added to the knees and insteps to deal with the greatest level of abuse from crampon strikes and harsh scrambles.
Are there any other features?
Starting from the top and making our way down, the Terra's feature a fleece lined waistband, an included removeable belt and two hand pockets to store essentials. Two thigh pockets store additional items, while an extra zipped security pocket in the right hand pocket can house a key or change. If you find yourself beginning to overheat, the Terra Mission Pants include two large zipped vents on either leg, allowing air to pass through and hot air to escape. Lastly, the lower of the leg features a volume adjuster to accomodate larger mountaineering boots.
