What are the Talus Trail Shorts?
These 4-inch stretch running shorts are designed for active women who enjoy working out, mountain running or a simple jog before work. The Talus Trail Shorts are a technical pair of shorts with breathable fabric and an integrated liner to keep you feeling secure and comfortable during fast paced activity.
What are they made of?
The Talus Trail Shorts are constructed using a combination of technical fabrics, including Matrix™ Aero and Flexile™ 100 with fluorocarbon free durable water repellent (DWR).
Matrix™ Aero is the lightest fabric within the Matrix™ series. It is constructed with a single weave for a featherweight feel, soft on the skin and super-fast drying.
Flexile™ 100 is a lightweight, extra breathable nylon and elastane stretch knit. Made with a specialised blend of fibres, Flexile™ 100 offers a durable protective layer of moisture wicking technology whilst being flexible and supportive.
Fluorocarbon free DWR is a durable water repellent that creates a light protective barrier to help combat rain showers. However, DWR does not mean the fabric is fully waterproof. Fluorocarbon free treatments do not use chemicals that are harmful to the environment, making them a more sustainable choice than lesser quality running shorts.
What are their features?
The Talus Trail Shorts have an ergonomically designed lightweight outer. The outer helps increase freedom of movement when worn, ideal for high intensity workouts or running up your local crag.
Underneath is a lightweight liner short that sits comfortably next to the skin, made from soft Flexile™ 100 fabric. The Flexile™ 100 wicks away moisture from the skin to the outside of the material, helping you feel fresher when working up a sweat on long distance excursions.
On the liner, two thigh stash pockets offer storage for essential items such as headphones or gels and light snacks to keep you energised throughout your session. A large front mesh pocket can be found on the waistband. Not only are mesh pockets great for extra storage, but they also enhance ventilation, as airflow can easily travel through the mesh fabric.
The integrated back yolk pocket is useful for holding more valuable items like a phone or small wallet. It is closed with a zip fastening for extra security. A separate small key pocket does exactly what it says on the tin. Perfect for keeping keys safe and secure when you're in the mountains or racking up some laps on the treadmill.
Seam free bottom hems offer a nice smooth feel against the skin, and the split hem construction allows increased mobility and freedom.
These shorts are finished with subtle reflective branding, excellent for those who enjoy exercising after hours.
