What are the Alpine Tour Shorts?
The Alpine Tour Shorts are versatile, functional shorts with a minimal design to take you from trail to town without changing in between. They're suitable for both summer hikes and beer garden afternoons, thanks to their clean and comfy design, which looks and feels fantastic.
What are they made of?
These shorts are made of a combination of nylon, polyester and elastane to create a nylon stretch fabric that is Bluesign® approved. Nylon is extremely durable and lightweight, and this fabric has quick drying properties for when you're working up a sweat in the mountains or scrambling in changeable conditions.
Bluesign® approval indicates much more sustainable manufacturing methods as it ensures that the product has been produced ethically, considering the environment, workers and consumers involved.
What are their features?
These shorts have a durable water repellent coating for extra protection from odd summer showers, so you don't end up with soggy pants halfway along the trail! The shorts are lightweight and quick drying, so even if you do end up getting a bit wet, they will dry out in no time.
The fabric also has unique wrinkle resistant properties, which helps prolong the life of the shorts and stops them from looking like you've aged an extra 50 years on your bottom half...
The waistband has a brushed interior that feels super smooth and soft against the skin, improving comfort levels while still wicking away moisture.
There are two front hand pockets for stashing keys or coins, alongside a right hip pocket and back drop-in pockets for chunkier belongings like a phone or a wallet.
Built into the shorts is a gusseted crotch which provides extra fabric to the places you need it most. A gusseted crotch is really functional and practical for outdoor pants, as it helps to increase mobility and freedom of movement whilst taking pressure off vital seams.
