What are the Abisko Midsummer Shorts?
They're the perfect shorts for hot weather adventures and exploring in warm or humid climates. The Abisko Midsummer Shorts are made with lightweight, durable and breathable materials that pack away nicely into a suitcase or kit bag for trips away, or even into a backpack if you need a change of clothes.
What are they made of?
These robust shorts are constructed with Fjallraven's very own G1000® Air Stretch which uses a blend of polyester and organic cotton.
G1000® Air Stretch is a performance stretch fabric that is light and airy yet robust and protective enough to withstand a beating in rugged environments.
G1000® materials can also be adapted using Fjallraven Greenland Wax, which enhances its water resistance if the weather is looking wet or showery. Although please note, the more you apply to the material, the less breathable it will be. What are their features?
They come in a mid-waist fit, secured with a zip fly and press button closure. The waistband has belt loops to give you the option to wear a belt or attach accessory carabiners for extra storage.
There are two leg pockets, one fastened with a zip and one with buttons, which fit a mobile phone, wallet or GPS in comfortably, alongside two hand pockets which are ideal for essentials like trail snacks or a small compass.
The functional, stretchy design makes these shorts ideal for not only outdoor activities but casual errands too, whether doing the weekly shop, taking the dog to the park or doing some DIY in the garden.
