What is the Revolt 25?
The Revolt is a clean-looking, ultra-tough, feature-packed rucksack designed to accompany you on your skiing and snowboarding excursions.
What is it made of?
It's made using an ultra-tough 330D ripstop nylon throughout the main body of the pack and a 420D nylon in high-wear areas. Both of these fabrics are coated in HydroShield, a water and snow-resistant coating designed to provide light amounts of protection for quick showers. For total waterproof protection, we'd still recommend the use of drybags.
What is the backsystem?
Lowe Alpine use their Triflex carry system throughout the Revolt. This system features a foam-based snow-shedding backpanel to stop items inside the pack jabbing you in the back. The hipbelt and shoulder straps are thinner and wider than on their trekking packs to provide plenty of support and comfort without risk of absorbing moisture into large amounts of foam.
What are its features?
Access into the pack is via a large zip on the rear. This provides greater weather protection and allows you to access all of your kit without having to empty it like you would with a traditional top-loading system. Pockets wise, there is a large front tool pocket, one top pocket and two internal security pockets. Other features include daisy chain loops to attach extra gear, glove-friendly buckles, an axe-attachment system, a helmet-holder, a snowboard carry system, a ski carry system and an SOS panel so you can write down your emergency details in case the worst should happen.
