With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.
90-day returns period
We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

Rigorously tested on unsupported arctic expeditions, the Polar Expedition Salopettes from Mountain Equipment are second to none when it comes to protection and performance in the worlds coldest and most difficult conditions. The salopettes (and Jacket set) were originally designed in partnership with Ben Saunders for his 105 day, 1795 mile Scott expedition to the South Pole and back, and have been in the range ever since. If you're looking for exceptional breathability and all-around protection from some of the harshest elements the world has to offer, then look no further.
The Polar Salopettes are constructed using 30D Drilite with an Electrospun backer. Drilite is highly weather resistant whilst the Electrospun backer offers both exceptional breathability and total wind-blocking; both come together to give you salopettes that offer you exceptional performance in Polar Regions. Polartec Alpha insulation in the things and seat help to protect from strong, cold headwinds and keep your bottom toasty when you're sat down in the snow on your all-important coffee breaks. The seams throughout the salopettes are triple stitched for comfort and durability.
The salopettes are loaded with very clever features. They feature 4 zippered pockets - two in the chest and two on the thigh. They also have two full-length side zips (which are reinforced with an extra storm flap for better weather protection) which make the salopettes easy to get on and off (even over big boots). The 2-way zippered fly is also reinforced with an extra storm flap for better weather protection. The unlined lower leg is designed to be worn either inside or outside your boots.
