We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

Rab Andes 1000 Sleeping Bag

Filled with 1000g of 800 fill power European goose down for maximum loft and insulation in a mummy shape which is optimised for bags with fill weights between 800 and 1200g.  Longitudinal chest and foot baffles keep the down exactly where it’s needed, over the apex points of the body, to maximise insulation and to stop the down from migrating to the sides of the bag.  Differential cut is a technology developed by Rab to ensure that the space between the lining and the outer fabric is optimised for the specific filling and fill power.  This maximises the potential of the down to loft naturally resulting in greater performance

The outer fabric is Pertex Endurance which offers low weight, strength and excellent water resistance.  The inner is lined with Pertex Microlight fabric for enhanced comfort and wicking.  Both the inner hood and foot areas are lined with Pertex Endurance to provide additional abrasion resistance from helmets and boots.

Temperature ratings are used to indicate a bags performance but are subjective and can be hugely affected by many factors such as your health and metabolism, how much you have had to eat or drink, how active you have been, humidity and altitude, the type of shelter used and whether you are using a suitable insulating mat. Your sleeping bag is only as good as the mat that’s beneath it; we recommend EXPED mats for comfort and insulation.

The "Comfort" rating indicates the range at which a woman gets a full night’s sleep; the "Limit of Comfort" rating indicates the range at which a man gets a full night’s sleep and the "Extreme" rating indicates a range at which a woman is protected from hypothermia.  The Extreme rating is basically a survival rating and it is not advisable to rely on this for general use.

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
