90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

For your convenience, follow here to the Royal Mail Returns Portal to arrange return postage for your items. Please use our warehouse returns address (Returns, Unit H&J, Moreton Business Park, Hereford, HR4 8DS) when completing the form.

Exemptions
PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc. ), Food Goods, Accessory Cord, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What are the Capstone Pants?

The Rab Capstones are the ideal all-season peak to pub pants; They have all the capabilities of softshell walking trousers but in a casual five pocket style; They’re weather resistant, breathable, incredibly versatile, and ideal for hiking in changeable conditions. The Capstones combine performance and style, offering comfort, breathability and great freedom of movement.

What are they made of?

The Capstones are made out of a Matrix Double Weave fabric that is tough, abrasion resistant, breathable and quick drying – all the good things you want from a softshell trouser! On the inside the Matrix Fabric has a brushed back, which is exceptionally comfortable next to skin, even if you get wet. The brushed back also helps to move sweat and moisture away from your body, even on hot summer days, so you’ll be comfortable all day long. The trousers are then given a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating which helps water from light showers, snow and splashes bead off from the pants – please note that this does not make the trousers waterproof, so remember to take out some waterproof shell trousers with you if the weather looks grim.

What are their features?

These trousers feature a jeans-style button fastening with YKK zip fly and belt loops that are wide enough to take most standard trouser belts. Storage-wise you get two hand pockets and two large back patch pockets – the right back pocket has concealed zipped open – ideal for stashing your card or keys.

How do they fit?

The Capstone Pants feature Rabs ‘Regular Fit’ so they are tailored to fit the shape of your body but they are not skin tight and have a bit more of a relaxed fit throughout the leg. The articulated knees mean that they won’t hinder your movements when you’re climbing and scrambling.

1Chest

Run the tape around the fullest part of your chest, the tape should be just below the arm pit and over the shoulder blades whilst horizontal to the floor.

2Waist

Measure around your natural waist as show in the diagram

3Inseam

Measure your inside leg from crotch to ankle blone keeping your leg straight: not as easy as it sounds, you could take a pair of trousers that you already own, that fit you well, and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.

4Sleeve

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
