90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

Exemptions

If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What are the Muztag Pants?

The Muztag Shell Pants are a super tough, breathable pair of waterproof trousers designed for year-round use in the worst conditions nature has to offer. Winter climbing, technical ascents or wat winter in the mountains – the Muztags will handle it all. They have been engineered to deliver the perfect balance between protection and weight.

What are they made of?

The Muztags are made using a 40D Gore-Tex Pro Most Breathable membrane. It provides the perfect combination of comfort and toughness, allowing moisture vapour to escape even when you’re working hard – so you’ll be kept dry from the inside as well as the outside.

At the bottom of the trousers, the Muztags feature 300D crampon patch reinforcements at the ankle to deal with crampon strikes and slipped footwork. The trousers are then given a DWR coating to help water and snow bead off.

What are their features?

The Muztags feature a 7/8th 2-way YKK AquaGuard side zips down the legs that allow you to take the trousers off and put them on without having to remove your walking or mountaineering boots. The zips both have an internal storm guard to seal out the elements and triple pullers so you can unzip to get to your pockets or use them as vents to dump excess heat. The zippered fly is a 2-way YKK AquaGuard zip and the fully adjustable and removable braces provide extra reassurance and stability when you’re making big moves. If you don’t fancy using the braces the Muztags have additional belt loops and waist adjustment. The underboot attachment points and ergonomically shaped hem easily accommodates mountain boots whilst still allowing you to see your feet on tricky moves.

How do they fit?

The Muztags use Rab’s Regular Fit, so the trousers don’t sit skin-tight allowing you to fit walking trousers and baselayers on underneath them without hindering your movement.

Measure your inside leg from crotch to ankle blone keeping your leg straight: not as easy as it sounds, you could take a pair of trousers that you already own, that fit you well, and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.

4Sleeve

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
