What is it made of?The main body of the pack is made from a super tough yet lightweight nylon, while the areas in contact with your skin use a softer polyester.
Which backsystem does it use?The XT 10's backsystem is both incredibly simple and clever at the same time. It fits a lot like a running pack in the sense that it's further up your back than a hiking pack and has wide, comfortable shoulder straps to take the weight. The backpanel is lined with super-soft foam/mesh to increase breathability and two stretchy sternum straps keep the pack secure.
What are its features?Despite its small size, it features more pockets than most hiking packs! It's got one zipped top pocket for items you need quick to hand, one internal sleeve for a water bladder, two pockets on the shoulder straps to store soft flasks, snacks or your phone and one large main compartment for everything else. If you're still short on space, there's a bungee system on the front which is ideal for wet waterproof clothing.
Other features include walking/running pole holders, a whistle, a key holder and reflective details to make sure you're easily visible.
