What is the Zealot Chalk Bucket?
It's basically a big chalk bag with a five-litre capacity, allowing you to hold more chalk at once and chalk up two hands at a time for minimum faff on the rockface. It's perfect for longer outdoor routes and suitable enough to be used in the gym too!
What is it made of?
The Zealot Chalk Bucket is constructed with a recycled ballistic nylon that is incredibly robust and can easily withstand a beating from jagged rock and rough surfaces.
The material is bluesign® approved to ensure it's safe and ethical for workers, the environment and consumers, and treated with a PFAS/PFC-free DWR. These types of DWR (durable water repellent) are much more eco-friendly than conventional methods, as they don't use chemicals that harm the environment. It encourages light rain and water to bead off the fabric instead of soaking in. However, it will not make the material fully waterproof.
What are its features?
The magnetic closure allows you to fasten and unfasten the bag easily for quick access if you're in the middle of an ascent. It also has a roll-top with an adjustable web and buckle to provide extra security and help to prevent loose chalk from spilling out.
There are two zip pockets for small essentials you want to keep close to hand during your climb, such as snacks and energy gels.
The interior is unlined, reducing the weight and bulk of the bag, while elastic loops provide both vertical and horizontal attachments for boulder brushes.
