What are the features?
Even for a basic lamp, the Astro 300-R has a lot of exciting techy bits to offer.
Starting with the lamp itself, it has a 300 lumens maximum output. However, you're not restricted to using full power every time you wear it. This lamp comes with settings that include full-strength, dimming and strobe style lighting to help adapt to your environment or task. The clever brightness memory feature allows you to turn the headlamp on and off at the last used brightness level, meaning you don't have to fiddle around in the dark every time you use it!
The lamp is rechargeable and is compatible to charge at the wall, in the car, from a power pack or even via solar panels - a great variety of options to allow users to power up on the go without worrying about killing the battery life too quickly. For added efficiency, there is a digital lock mode to prevent accidental use when stored in a pack or pocket, preserving the battery for when you need it most.
The stormproof lamp has an IPX 4 rating to withstand rain and sleet from any angle, fantastic in exposed areas when faced with cold, challenging weather.
The elastic headband has a super soft, smooth feel to provide next-to-skin comfort, with a slight stretch to adapt the shape and fit snug around the head. It is constructed using recycled Repreve® fibres, making it a much friendlier option for eco-conscious adventurers!
