What is the Firepit+?
The Firepit+ from BioLite is an ultra-efficient, smokeless firepit. You can cook on it, roast marshmallows or just light it up to keep you warm round the campsite. The secret to it’s incredibly efficient burn? The specially crafted 51 airjets that improve airflow and combustion. The power for these air jets comes from a 12,800 mAh rechargeable battery and you can toggle the size of your flames manually or remotely with the free Bluetooth app.
What are the features?
Starting with perhaps the coolest feature, the whopping 12,800 mAh USB rechargeable Powerpack will run the fan for your fire for up to 30 hours on a single charge. It can be detached and recharged easily between uses via the USB port. Improving the efficiency of the Firepit, 51 airjets inject the fire with oxygen along key locations. This creates a more consistent temperature throughout the pit which dramatically improves combustion. You can control that fan intensity using the Firepit’s powerpack or with the free BioLite Energy App (available Android and iOS).
Moving down, the folding legs make the firepit easy to pack down and transport. And if you want to cook on it rather than just keep warm? No problem! You can cook hibachi-style meals using the removeable grill grate. This grill gate is easy to pop on and off and wipes down easily when you’re finished. The fuel rack adjusts to accommodate two types of fuel (wood or charcoal) depending on your preference. The ‘X-Ray Mesh’ allows heat to pump out, whilst allowing you to see all the beautiful embers and burning wood.
And when all the fun has been had and it’s time to wipe it down and pack it away, the enamel coating acts like a non-stick frying pan, allowing you to clean it quickly and easily before you stash it away.
