What is it made of?
The pick is made from durable, high-strength steel, robust enough to take a good beating from solid ice and rock.
Strong, lightweight aluminium forms the shaft, which also has CNC machined grip grooves for security and comfort.
What are its features?
Due to its short length, this ice axe is fantastic for fitting inside a bag or clipping onto a harness for quick, easy access.
Its steel pick has a hammer for placing pegs, which is refined enough to suit various alpine terrain - perfect for multi-day ascents and challenging expeditions where you need all the functions but minimal weight and bulk. Large tethering points in the head and spike make clipping easier and give you extra safety reassurance.
The Flux is also compatible with the DMM sliding handrest.

Ice Axes can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety.
