What is the Trango Alpine GTX?
They're versatile mountaineering boots designed for alpine climbing and mountaineering. The Trango Alpine GTX boots provide ample comfort, stability, and complete waterproof protection thanks to their Gore-Tex® membrane.
What are they made of?
These boots feature a water-repellent Hydro-Perwanger® leather upper, which is incredibly durable and supple enough to provide flexibility where it is most needed.
A Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort lining provides complete waterproof protection without hindering breathability, ensuring efficient temperature regulation for tough days in the mountains.
The low-density PU midsole features a rear TPU insert for attaching crampons, making it more supportive and well-suited to wintry conditions.
Furthermore, a Vibram® Cube Evo outsole with SpringLug Technology and an Impact Brake System® increases confidence underfoot by providing better traction in steep and rocky environments.
SpringLug Technology is composed of a rubber shell to provide the utmost protection and exceptional resistance to scratches and wear. It maximises comfort with the low-density PU while rendering the sole highly adaptable to uneven terrain.
The Impact Brake System is applied to the sole design to absorb negative ground impact, help traction and improve grip downhill. Created and developed by the R&D department at La Sportiva, it offers real advantages by reducing negative ground impact. The unique position of the multi-directional lugs allows as many of them as possible to come into contact with the ground for maximum control and impact absorption.
What are the features?
The 3D Flex System Evo incorporates a multi-directional hinge at the ankle to allow full freedom of movement and flexibility without sacrificing stability and control. The enhanced flexibility also ensures maximum sole contact with the ground to make the most of the Impact Brake System.
Toe climbing zones provide maximum precision and a more reliable grip for tackling tricky ascents and small ledges.
100% recycled laces also help to lower the environmental impact of these boots without compromise.
