What are the Ribelle Lite HD Boots?
The Ribelle Lite HD Boots are durable, lightweight and waterproof boots designed for a variety of technical activities like alpine mountaineering, via ferrata and backpacking in challenging terrain.
They provide plenty of protection, comfort and support for long adventures and are made with durable materials to withstand years of abuse.
What are they made of?
The upper comprises a water resistant microfibre material that offers durability without the weight and encourages water or snow to bead off the fabric instead of soaking in.
A PU rand is placed around for structure, support, and to protect the toes and sides of the feet. Rubber placed on the toe and the interior help to stop those little piggies from getting crushed or bashed against rock on steep ascents and scrambles.
The lining is laminated with HDry® for waterproof protection without hindering breathability. It has no seams to ensure water can't penetrate through stitching, blocking rain whilst accumulating dry, warm air to keep your feet insulated and comfy. Built-in 37.5® technology helps to regulate temperature and maintain the ideal average of 37.5°, balancing the foot's microclimate and humidity. It's an innovative, patented technology that uses active particles to contain energy and warmth.
A Pro Fiber Roll insole made with polypropylene and fibre glass cushions the foot nicely, and the PU/TPU midsole helps to absorb shock and impact in demanding terrain.
The Vibram® Pentax Precision III sole offers fantastic traction and grip on different surfaces, including hard snow and sticky mud. It's made from robust rubber to give you years of use and keep wear and tear to an absolute minimum.
What are their features?
The Ribelle Lite HD Boots are designed with a Dynamic Tech Roll system that helps obtain an ergonomic fit whilst encouraging the foot to move and naturally roll off the ground. It makes each step feel a little lighter and smoother instead of feeling clunky or stompy. It combines lightweight, innovative materials that enhance comfort and performance and ensures optimum anti-torsion efficiency to help stop you from twisting your ankle and causing injury.
A Sock-Fit XT construction system wraps around the foot like a sock to help stabilise and secure it inside without feeling tight or restrictive.
There's less overhang at the side of each bulk, so you can see exactly where you're stepping when climbing more technical ascents.
The lacing system runs all the way down to the toes for precision. It's divided into two sections - the lower part is integrated into the upper, allowing you to adjust the fit of the whole area. The upper section has a hook to lock the laces in place and divide tension areas to relieve uncomfortable pressure. It consistently and progressively wraps around the ankle for comfort and additional security.
