Whether tackling a tricky approach or even going about your daily errands, these vegan-friendly approach shoes are part of the iconic La Sportiva Approach family and provide ample protection, comfort, and breathability for day-long wear.
What are they made of?
These shoes feature High Tenacity Mesh with recycled yarn, plus PES and TPU reinforcements, creating an incredibly lightweight, breathable yet sturdy, and abrasion-resistant upper.
The tongue, collar lining, laces, and lace cords are also made from recycled material to reduce environmental impact.
Mesh lining enhances breathability further by encouraging more airflow through the materials to regulate temperature and moisture build-up.
The Ortholite® Hybrid Approach insole delivers ample underfoot comfort while keeping the weight to a minimum.
A compression-moulded EVA midsole, which is 7% recycled, ensures protection and cushioning on tricky trails, walk-ins, and via ferrata routes.
Vibram® MegaGrip soles with an Impact Brake System™ provide reliable grip and traction. The Impact Brake System is applied to the sole design to absorb negative ground impact, help traction and improve grip downhill. Created and developed by the R&D department at La Sportiva, it offers real advantages by reducing negative ground impact. The unique position of the multi-directional lugs allows as many of them as possible to come into contact with the ground for maximum control and impact absorption.

The Resole Platform™ allows you to resole these shoes when the sole has worn out instead of throwing them away completely, helping to keep valuable materials out of landfills and saving you some money in the process.
The Climbing Zone construction at the toe maximises precision and grip for navigating technical approaches and climbs.
