What is it made of?
This fleece is constructed with 100% recycled materials, including Primaloft Bio, a material designed to help reduce the long-term impact of microplastics in our oceans. So, if you're looking for a more eco-conscious choice, this is for you!
How? Primaloft® Bio fibres are optimised to break down quickly once they reach landfill, our oceans or wastewater as they appeal more to naturally-occurring microbes found in these environments. But don't worry, this doesn't mean the material will fall apart in your wardrobe!
Being biodegradable doesn't mean the fleece is of poor quality, it's durable, lightweight, breathable, and absolutely built to last. Those naturally occurring microbes enable materials like Primaloft® Bio to return to nature, leaving behind elements such as water, CO2, methane, biomass and humus (a natural component of potting soil).
Stretch nylon overlays provide reinforcement where it's needed most.
What are its features?
The fleece itself is thermally efficient, meaning it will keep you warm during harsh winters in the mountains. As previously mentioned, it's highly breathable and lightweight to ensure you're comfortable in more intense environments.
The under-the-helmet hood fits close next to the skin, allowing you to get a climbing or biking helmet over the top for some extra warmth.
Two zippered hand pockets and one zippered chest pocket gives you plenty of storage options for carrying a mobile phone, GPS device, snacks or headphones. Pockets are also lined with Primaloft® Bio to reduce environmental impact further and give you somewhere warm to put your hands if you've forgotten your gloves!
Lycra cuffs give you plenty of flexibility around the wrists without the weight and bulk of conventional materials. It feels incredibly smooth against the skin for a barely-there effect.
The Supermoon Bio is finished with an exclusive woven label and a subtle embroidered logo.
