What is the Lumiko Hooded Jacket?
This is a lightweight stretch fleece with fast drying, moisture wicking fabric. The hoody is versatile enough to wear as a light outer layer on warmer days or as a breathable midlayer on colder, high intensity expeditions.
What is it made of?
The Lumiko Hoody is constructed using a recycled polyester performance stretch fleece. The jacket is Bluesign® approved. Bluesign® indicates it has been manufactured safely considering the workers and consumers involved, without the use of chemicals that harm the environment, making it a much more sustainable option than a standard, lesser quality fleece.
What are its features?
This hooded jacket has a stretchy, flexible fabric that is super cosy and soft to touch. Coverstitched seams run throughout the construction and feel comfortable next to the skin whilst providing a neat, streamlined finish.
The Grown-on hood provides less bulk yet more optional coverage for the face, head, and neck to tolerate colder conditions - ideal for belayers or those looking for a cosy extra layer on longer winter trips.
A centre front zip gives you easy access if you need to quickly put on or remove the jacket. This silhouette has long sleeves and low bulk cuffs which are ideal for technical climbing routes.
A Napoleon pocket sits on the chest to stow away items you may want to keep on hand, such as snacks (of course), a phone, GPS or compass. The pocket is fastened with a zip for extra security to keep items safe in remote, challenging locations.
How does it fit?
This jacket has an active fit which means it is slimmer and sits closer to the body, helping regulate temperature and maintain warmth whilst giving an overall more flattering fit.
Where does it fit in the layering system?
On warmer days, the Lumiko can be worn comfortably as a light outer layer. Otherwise, use it as a cosy midlayer when braving cold mountain summits and winter Alpine adventures.
