What is the Vardag Hydratic Anorak?

It's a casual, versatile waterproof anorak, made with stretchy material to keep you comfortable and dry all day long. This anorak is the perfect trail-to-town piece. What is it made of?

The Vardag Anorak is made using Fjallraven's own Hydratic 2.5 layer material, which provides superb waterproof protection for wet days on the hill or in the city.
Hydratic comprises recycled polyester, lessening its impact on the planet, which has a PU membrane and PFC-free impregnation to give it its waterproof properties. By using PFC-free methods, this product's environmental impact is cut down even further by eliminating the use of perfluorinated chemicals, aka, 'forever chemicals'.
Though waterproof, Hydratic is highly breathable and can wick away moisture from the inside layer efficiently, meaning you won't be left feeling clammy and damp if you're being more active.

What are its features?

This anorak fits into Fjallraven's comfort fit bracket, which offers more room than usual for fitting layers underneath, making it more suitable for casual outfits rather than lightweight, techy garments. This, combined with side zippers, makes it super easy to put the anorak on, or pull it off again, without getting stuck halfway.

Both side zippers double up nicely as ventilation, should you need it, allowing you to quickly dump some heat for steeper routes on the hill or if you've just run for the bus. Buttons on the hem also help keep the hem and jacket in place whilst the zips are left open, so if it's blustery, it won't fly around in the wind.

The hood is adjustable, meaning you can achieve a nice, snug fit with or without a beanie or hoodie underneath. A half zip and placket give you easy access and enhance the weather resistance around the front compared to the usual exposed full-zip.

Cuffs are half-elasticated to give them a low-profile fit, making them comfortable to wear around thick mitts and chunky gloves.

For storage, there are zippered hand pockets that easily fit a phone, purse, headphones or snacks without getting in your way.
