What is the S/F Top Tube Bag?
The S/F Top Tube Bag is pretty self-explanatory. As part of the Specialized Fjallraven collaboration, it's a Top Tube Bag that attaches to your bike for carrying smaller essentials like a mobile phone, GPS, wallet or those all-important trail snacks.
It's ideal for various conditions and activities, whether bikepacking for multiple days, taking a leisurely ride across your local trails, or even commuting to work.
What is it made of?
This bag comprises durable, weather-resistant Vinylon F. It's incredibly robust and can withstand daily use and abrasion well, giving you years of use. Being weather resistant, it'll protect goods inside from showers, snow and mud. However, please be aware, it's not entirely waterproof, so if you get caught in a long, heavy downpour, you might need to consider a raincover.
The material is foam-padded and lined with recycled nylon to help prevent your belongings from getting damaged or scratched, which works great for keeping phones and sunglasses safe.
What are the features?
A semi-soft design with a reinforced base offers all the structure you need without adding additional weight and bulk, making the bag easy to wear on your bike without hindering movement. You can attach it to your bike frame using the Velcro straps, or if you'd prefer, you can add screws to the top of your bike frame.
A weather-resistant cable opening on one side allows you to thread a wire through to the outside for charging electricals like a GPS or phone. Inside, you have small mesh pockets for organisation.
One plastic panel in the base help to enhance the stability of the bag as you ride, while the padded foam sides provide additional cushioning and protection to your gear.
