What is the Abisko Softpack 16?

With multiple options for carrying all kinds of gear, this truly versatile pack is built from durable recycled materials, so it can easily withstand daily life in the outdoors.
What is it made from?
The Abisko Softpack is built from a highly durable 210D ripstop fabric, made from 100% recycled nylon. The material features a PU coating to allow it to shed light rain and puddle splashes. However, please note that this doesn't make the pack waterproof.
Though made from recycled materials, this pack doesn't skimp on quality and is thick enough to endure bumps and scrapes from regular use without looking shabby over time. The lining and webbing straps are also made from 100% recycled materials to add to this pocket's eco-friendly credentials.
What backsystem does it use?
The pack features a simple, minimal carrying system with a fixed back length and a detachable chest strap for added versatility. The shoulder straps and back panel are constructed from a breathable and comfortable foam for lightweight carrying comfort, suitable for various outdoor activities.

This versatile pack features a large 16-litre main compartment with a zippered clamshell opening with several organisational slip pockets to allow you to easily separate your gear. The pocket has an internal sleeve which can be used for a hydration bladder or to stow a laptop up to 15 inches, making it ideal for both commuting and exploring the outdoors.
An external top pocket provides space for keeping smaller items close to hand, such as keys, mobile phone or GPS device. Two stretch side pockets are ideal for accommodating water bottles or additional gear, such as on/off layers or extra snacks. Compression straps on the sides allow you to cinch in extra space when the bag isn't full, helping stop items from moving around for a stable carry.
The pack features gear attachment points for stowing items such as hiking poles or a helmet, while a stowaway attachment strap on the top provides storage for climbing rope and additional gear. There are also loops should you wish to attach a hip belt; the pack is compatible with the Abisko Bottle Pocket's detachable strap. This versatile pack is finished with multiple reflective details to help increase your visibility to other road users in low light for added safety.
