What is the Space Case 7?
The Space Case 7 is a seven-litre belt pack designed for travelling and hiking. It gives you enough room to carry small water bottles, binoculars, and even a shell jacket, without bearing the weight and bulk of a full backpack.
What is it made of?
This pack comprises 50% recycled 210D 6.6 Mini Ripstop, which is highly durable and can take a beating from everyday use. The material is coated with HydroShield to give it a water repellent finish, so if you get caught in a light rain or snow shower, the water will simply bead off the fabric instead of soaking in, keeping all your belongings dry inside.
What are its features?
The Space Case 7 has a lightweight, breathable Air Contour™ lumbar pad which combines increased breathability with a supportive and stable carry, providing instant comfort for lengthy journeys.
It has a pre-curved design that enhances fit by sitting more naturally on the body and feeling less rigid than standard, straighter belt packs.
An integrated compression shield also helps to stabilise the pack and reduce bounce as you're moving around.
The Space Case has a front stash pocket, ideal for small guidebooks, snacks and energy gels that you may want to access quickly, and hipbelt pockets that could also fit even more snacks or a small compass.
There's a small front pocket with a zip closure for keys and other small valuables that will keep everything tucked away and protected, ensuring they won't slip out on the move.
You can access the main compartment with a large, two-way zip opening at the rear - placed closer to the body, making it easier to see the contents inside.
Stretch mesh side pockets are ideal for storing water bottles without having them take up precious room inside the bag, and a grab handle gives you a quick grab-and-go option if you're in a hurry.
Finally, Lowe Alpine has added an LED light loop that gives you the option for extra visibility when conditions are poor or if you're exploring after hours.
