What is the Farden Roller 35?
It's a practical 35-litre bag on wheels, made from highly durable materials with functional compression straps to streamline the design. Compatible with most airline carry-on requirements*, it's ideal for weekends away, shorter trips abroad and business trips.
What is it made from?
The Farden is primarily constructed from recycled polyamide (nylon) in varying thicknesses for increased durability in high-wear areas and a solid polycarbonate chassis for structure and protection.
Fjallraven has used robust 500D for the Farden's main construction with 840D reinforcements in key areas for exceptional durability and a smooth 210D lining. This super tough exterior helps protect your belongings and allows the bag to withstand a lifetime of bumps and scrapes whilst travelling.
The outer materials are coated in a water-resistant TPU laminate for light protection from rain, snow and damp ground. However please note this does not make the bag fully waterproof.
Fjallraven's recycled polyamide fabric is responsibly created from yarn scraps, unusable second-quality fabrics, and fabric off-cuts, whilst still retaining the same exceptional durability and performance as virgin polyamide. It helps reduce the use of raw materials and non-renewable sources while reducing air, water and soil contamination.
What are its features?
The Farden is compact and compatible with most airline carry-on requirements*. It features two handy grab handles and a retractable main handle for a quick grab-and-run option when you need to make a last-minute dash to the check-in desk. Low-profile wheels support the reinforced base and create a smooth, easy glide with minimal effort.
The front of the bag is lightly padded to protect the contents while in transit. Elasticated cords inside help hold your belongings in place, while compression straps across the design can be used to cinch in the load. This is useful if the bag isn't fully packed to help prevent objects from rattling and moving around inside.
For storage, there is a large, roomy compartment that offers space for bulky items and a quick-access laptop pocket inside. An external pocket at the top features dedicated volume to keep smaller items that you might need to access in a hurry easily findable.
The design is finished with a reflective Fjallraven logo on the front to help increase visibility to road users when wheeling your luggage to the hotel in low-light settings.
