What is the Transporter WP 18?
This is a tough pack designed to challenge some of the toughest terrains. Constructed with super lightweight fabrics, the bag is easy and comfortable to use yet sturdy enough to hold a sizeable load.
What is it made from?
Osprey has created this pack using recycled 400D Nylon with a TPU coating. The material features a PFC/PFAS free DWR to repel water and dirt, whilst overall the bag has an IPX6 waterproof rating.
Which backsystem does it use?
Osprey's AirScape™ backpanel prioritises comfort and stability using its signature ventilation technology, a feature often used on more technical packs.
AIRSCAPE™ BACKPANEL - The specialised AirScape™ backpanel features vented and ridged foam sections overlaid with a lightweight mesh for maximum comfort and breathability.
What are its features?
Starting with the bag's opening, a super simple Roll Top closure and buckle system is the main entrance to this pack. The shoulder straps are adjustable, which helps to reduce excessive motion when you're moving around.
There is a blinky light attachment point to prioritise safety and visibility after daylight hours. The fast-drying AirScape™ backpanel improves ventilation, helping to prevent that horrible sticky feeling in warmer climates.
The bag is IPX6 waterproof rated when rolled and secured correctly - meaning you don't have to stop and mess around fitting a raincover to your pack when those pesky downpours start! Durable fabrics also prevent wear and tear on the bag, which is GRS-certified, and Bluesign® approved.
