What is the Duro 15?
The Duro is a 15-litre running pack designed for endurance athletes who require plenty of space to carry extra equipment and belongings. Its clever vest-style harness makes it super stable and secure during use, virtually eliminating bounce.
What is it made of?
Osprey has constructed this pack using a lightweight 320Gr Nylon Stretch Mesh. Tough enough to deal with regular, relentless use yet only weighing in at a few hundred grams, it makes the pack feel almost unnoticeable on your back.
Which backsystem does it use?
The Duro uses a vest-style harness system, meaning it sits higher than your average walking/trekking pack and wraps around your body more snugly. This system virtually eliminates bounce — one of the most annoying aspects of running with a backpack! All contact areas are lined with a moisture-wicking mesh for additional comfort and breathability.
What are its features?
Starting with storage, the Duro features a large quick-access secure phone pocket, multiple large storage pockets on the back, a series of Osprey's super-stretchy PowerMesh pockets, alongside a front zipped pocket, handy for carrying extra shell layers. Twin zipped hipbelt pockets are ideal for snacks, a GPS or other items you need to keep closer to hand. An internal hydration sleeve stores larger reservoirs, but if you prefer to use bottles, two 500ml Soft Flasks with extension hoses are included in this product so you can drink on the go. These bottles slot neatly into the front of the shoulder straps.
The pack-vest style fit sits close to the body for maximum comfort and weight distribution, preventing excessive movement. Dual adjustable sternum straps allow you to customise the measurements of the pack, which are also removable if unwanted. The two sternum straps hold the shoulder straps in place, and can be undone with just a quick pull — making them far easier to use when moving around or wearing big gloves.
Other features include an internal clip for your keys, reflective graphics, an LED attachment point to make sure you're easily visible and Stow-on-the-Go™ attachment points for your poles.
