What is the Xenith II?

What is it made of?
The outer material is Plasma 10D, while the filling consists of 197g of RDS-certified, 90/10 European Goose Down with a minimum fill power of 900.

'Plasma' material - Plasma is incredibly lightweight and durable enough for multi-day trips and overnight adventures. It is also highly breathable, amplifying the bag's temperature regulation, and features a fluorocarbon-free DWR (durable water repellent) for added protection.
Fluorocarbon-free - Fluorocarbons, also known as PFCs, are chemical compounds initially used in DWRs. These compounds can't break down, so once they reach nature via factory water waste, they stay in the environment and contaminate living organisms, working their way up the food chain. Fluorocarbons are suspected carcinogens and have been known to affect reproduction and hormone production in mammals. Therefore, many leading brands in the outdoor industry are prioritising cutting out the use of these chemicals entirely to contribute to a greener manufacturing process.
European Goose Down - European Goose Down is some of the highest quality down on the current market. Therefore, making this product super high grade and efficient, ensuring you get every bang for your buck.
900 Fill power - Fill power measures the warmth and efficiency of the down, alongside its ability to loft/fluff up. A rating of 900 fill power means that 1oz of this down fills 900 cubic inches of space when fully lofted.
R.D.S - The Responsible Down Standard ensures that the down is sourced from happy birds who haven't been plucked and have been well cared for.
What are the features?
The Alpine Fit maximises thermal efficiency to keep you as cosy as can be.
Vertical box wall chest baffles and slanted main body and rear baffles amplify heat when needed most and help prevent down migration, maintaining an even level of warmth across the entire bag.
Ground-level side seams are more thermally efficient because they encourage the sleeping bag's front layer to wrap around the body more snugly.
A five-baffle, low-volume, anatomically shaped hood provides warmth and comfort; keeping your head covered in cool conditions is important, as your head can lose a lot of heat, which may make you feel colder overnight.
You also get a three-baffle, anatomically shaped and offset foot box, which allows you to keep your feet in a natural position when sleeping without compromising warmth.
The full-length Gemini zip baffle with a 110cm zip and integrated neck collar makes it easy to get in and out of the bag and provides ventilation, should you need it. The zip baffle prevents a cold spot from forming at the entry spot when the bag is zipped, optimising warmth to help you get a good night's rest.
This sleeping bag is supplied with a roll-top stuff-sack and storage cube for at-home storage, making it easy to pack away and keeping the bag in the best condition for prolonged use.
When storing at home, we recommend using the storage cube. It will keep the down lofted and, therefore, maintain optimal thermal performance, making your sleeping bag last longer.
