DPD Returns Portal
We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 48 working hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.

We do not offer a free returns service. If using the DPD Returns Portal, a charge of £5 will be deducted from your refund when processed. Returns from Highlands and Islands using theDPD Returns Portalwill deduct £15.50 from the order refund. Large DPD returns will have £6 deducted from their refund. (Specifications are over 5kg, and over Length of 30cm x width of 30cm and height of 10cm). If customers are returning items using their own postal service, and our returns form, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

What is the Mythic -12°C / 10°F ?

It's an ultralight, super-warm, technical sleeping bag that utilises 900FP hydrophobic goose Down, TILT lining and Rab's patented construction techniques for an unparalleled warmth-to-weight ratio. It's engineered for maximum performance with minimal weight, ideal for gnarly alpine missions and challenging multi-day adventures where low weight and pack size are critical.

What is it made from?

Insulation: The Mythic is filled with 590g of 900 fill power European Goose Down for maximum loft (fluffiness) and insulation.

European Goose Down is some of the highest quality down on the current market, making this sleeping bag super high grade and efficient for keeping the heat in. The bag is also hand-filled in the UK to ensure the down has not been compressed before use to retain its loft for your first epic adventure.

The down is treated with a Grangers fluorocarbon-free Hydrophobic finish, which adds light water-resistance to the down itself.

Grangers Down Defend is a bluesign-approved hydrophobic treatment that helps keep down lofted in damp conditions. Once treated, the down is over 375 times more durable than untreated down, extending its lifespan. It's also much more water-resistant, delivering a shake test result of 15,000 minutes for virgin down, whilst also improving the down's fill power by up to 5%, overall keeping you warmer for longer.

Can't quite catch the lingo? Here's a quick breakdown.

Fill power - Fill power measures the warmth and efficiency of the down, alongside its ability to loft (fluff up). A rating of 900 fill power means that 1oz of this down fills 900 cubic inches of space when fully lofted.

R.D.S - The Responsible Down Standard ensures that the down is sourced from happy birds who haven't been plucked and have been well cared for.

Hydrophobic - Hydrophobic down dries out and lofts more quickly than untreated down, resisting moisture from sweat and condensation that may build up when you're catching z's in the bag. Fluorocarbon-free Hydrophobic finishes don't use harmful chemicals that cause damage to the environment, an excellent feature for more eco-conscious adventurers.

Lining: The lining uses a 10D recycled Atmos™ fabric with thermo ionic lining technology or TILT for short. This clever technology utilises titanium-coated nylon fibres to create an almost 'foil blanket' effect whereby your natural body heat is reflected back to you, increasing warmth by 32% without adding a gram of weight. And no, it doesn't feel like a foil blanket, it feels the same as a normal sleeping bag lining! Neat, Right?

Outer fabric: The outer shell of this sleeping bag is made from 10D Pertex® Quantum Ripstop for high levels of durability with minimal weight. This ultralight material features 70D ripstop fibres tightly woven throughout to help prevent tears and snags whilst maximising the down's ability to fully loft. Pertex® Quantum ripstop is soft to the touch with a unique texture that feels more robust and durable than other materials of the same denier, while still being fully windproof to retain warmth.

This fabric is treated with a fluorocarbon-free, durable water repellent (DWR) for light weather resistance in slightly harsher conditions. It's also super handy for accidental drink spills inside the tent or if you get caught out in a sudden shower when setting up your kit.

Starting with the bag's structure, Rab have used a L.O.F.T 3D™ baffle construction that features offset baffles that have been cleverly built with a twisted helix shape to create funnel points that prevent the down from migrating inside the chambers and make the down more effective. This patented technology eliminates cold spots across the bag, allowing Rab to achieve the same warmth with less down, creating a lighter and more packable sleeping bag.

Sidewall baffles provide maximum loft and comfort for side sleepers, whilst a tapered mummy shape provides optimal thermal efficiency and minimal pack size.

An anatomically fitted hood with drawcord closure allows you to cinch it in close on cold nights for maximum thermal efficiency, whilst a 3D shaped down-filled neck collar helps trap heat inside the sleeping bag.

The sleeping bag is fastened with a lightweight 1/8 length YKK® 3 coil main zip with a down-filled baffle running alongside to prevent cold from entering the bag via the zip.

An anatomically shaped footbox offers more space around the feet and a more relaxed sleeping position for maximum comfort, allowing the shape of the bag to feel less restrictive without adding much weight or bulk to the overall design.

The Mythic comes with two storage sacks, one larger zipped storage sack with a water-resistant base for optimum home storage, giving the back more breathing room to protect the down and help increase its overall performance and longevity. The other is a lightweight drybag stuff sack for compact storage on the move with minimal bulk. Stuff sacks are literally meant to be stuffed! So do your best to cram your sleeping bag inside instead of folding the bag neatly away. Stuffing randomly helps prevent folds and creases in the down, which will prevent cold spots and gaps from developing over time, increasing the lifespan of the bag.

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.

Regular Fit: Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting garments that are bang in the middle. The middle is good.

Relaxed Fit: Drapes loosely on the body, baggy fit.

1Chest

Run the tape around the fullest part of your chest, the tape should be just below the arm pit and over the shoulder blades whilst horizontal to the floor.

2Waist

Measure around your natural waist as show in the diagram

3Inseam

Measure your inside leg from crotch to ankle blone keeping your leg straight: not as easy as it sounds, you could take a pair of trousers that you already own, that fit you well, and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.

4Sleeve

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
