Hestra aren't one of those companies who dabble in anything and everything; they're the masters of what they do and they haven't changed that since 1936. For 79 years, Hestra have been constructing some of the finest gloves known to man, whether that's for use out in the mountains or around town.
The Ergo Grip gloves are a perfect example of how a mountaineering glove should look, feel and perform. Made using some of the highest quality goat leather available, they're exceptionally hard wearing, breathable, comfortable and abrasion resistant. Increasing durability even further are kangaroo leather reinforcements in areas prone to high wear.
Sitting under the high quality leather is an OutDry membrane. OutDry is a little like the weird kid at school who always did things their way but ended up getting straight A's. Rather than conforming to the way membranes traditionally work, OutDry laminates itself to the inside of the leather, meaning water will only ever soak into the leather until it reaches the membrane, resulting in a lighter, more breathable glove with less water-logged fabric.
You may have noticed the 'long' in the title; this doesn't actually refer to the length of the glove in relation to your hand size, it relates to the cuff. These long versions feature a gauntlet design, adding extra coverage over your wrists. If you would prefer to remove the gaultlet, click here to check out the 'short' version.
Lending themselves perfectly to mountaineering and cold weather persuits, the Ergo Grip's are about as premium as gloves get. These gloves are available in a multitude of sizes; If you are unsure of your size, please click here. Goat/Kangaroo leather
