What is the Brew Beanie?
It's an update to Montane's Brew Beanie with a new, improved knit. This lightweight ribbed beanie will keep you cosy and warm on cold winter days. It's versatile enough for days out on the hill, or everyday activities closer to home, like commuting, meeting friends for coffee or heading to the pub after work.
What is it made of?
The Brew Beanie is constructed from a soft and comfortable Oeko-Tex®-certified knit called Polyana that comprises 70% recycled polyester and 30% merino wool.
The recycled polyester contributes extra durability to the knit without being excessively bulky or heavy. It provides quick-drying and moisture-wicking properties making the beanie comfortable to wear all day long. Being recycled, it's a more environmentally responsible choice than virgin polyester, whilst still retaining the same durability and performance.
Merino wool is renowned for its fantastic performance properties, being naturally soft, breathable, fast drying, and odour resistant, which you'll be grateful for when the trail gets tough. It's effective at regulating temperature – it'll keep you warm during the winter without overheating you. This product uses purely mulesing-free, traceable merino wool. If you're unsure, mulesing-free indicates this wool is ethically sourced and hasn't come from sheep who have endured painful or cruel processes as part of the wool's production.
