What is the Protium Beanie?
This beanie is a lightweight hat that offers plenty of warmth, breathability and next-to-skin comfort thanks to its brushed back fleece fabric. It's perfect for various outdoor activities, including climbing, hiking and scrambling, or at-home errands such as taking the kids to school and walking the dog.
What is it made of?
Like the rest of Montane's Protium family, the Protium Beanie is made with Thermo Grid brushed back fleece which offers plenty of breathability and warmth for its weight.
Thermo Grid fleece is fantastic at regulating temperature, allowing you to stay comfortable during intense mountain activity. It helps wick away sweat and moisture from the skin.
The fleece fabric is stretchy, allowing the beanie to fit and adapt to different head shapes and sizes without feeling tight or restrictive.
What are its features?
The Protium Beanie has a headband double the thickness of the rest of the hat to improve durability and comfort and optimise the fit. It's incredibly lightweight, weighing in at just 40g, with a low bulk construction, allowing you to use it as a helmet liner as well as a regular beanie.
