What is the Pine Half Zip?
As the name suggests, the Pine Half Zip is a lightweight, half-zip fleece that feels super soft against the skin. It's the perfect midlayer or even baselayer for winter. It could also be used as a lightweight outer layer when the temperatures are milder, generally during autumn and spring.
What is it made of?
This fleece uses sustainable, recycled polyester with a microfleece construction for maximum warmth. Polyester is quick drying and durable enough to withstand regular use. Whether out in the mountains at the weekend or on a more casual, regular basis, it feels comfortable and warm to wear all day long.
What are its features?
It's built with a regular fit, allowing you to easily fit a baselayer or t-shirt underneath. However, it sits close enough to the skin to work well as a baselayer when you need something warm and reliable.
The high collar gives good coverage around the neck to improve heat retention. It has a half zip fastening at the front, allowing you to provide ventilation if you're working up a sweat in the mountains.
Flatlock stitching provides better next-to-skin comfort as seams are less bulky, making them less likely to chafe when warm or wearing the fleece for long periods.
