What is the Expedition Pro LS Shirt?
The Expedition Pro is a long sleeved shirt that takes Royal Robbins' Expedition performance to the next level. It's breathable, durable and can manage moisture effectively, with added stretch, ventilation and a cleaner fit. Oh, and did we mention it's made from recycled materials?
What is it made of?
As mentioned, the shirt is made from recycled materials - post-consumer plastic bottles, to be precise. These bottles make a lovely, lightweight polyester that is durable and soft on the skin.
The polyester is quick-drying and moisture wicking, so if you're working up a sweat in the mountains, or even a little closer to home, this shirt will help you stay fresher for longer.
It's treated with HeiQ Stain Away and HeiQ Smart Temp.
HeiQ Stain Away encourages dirt and stains to wash out easier, whilst HeiQ Smart Temp technology encourages thermal regulation activated by rising body temperature. It deactivates once cooled, helping maintain a balanced temperature from day to night.
What are its features?
It has a classic pointed collar, long sleeves and two chest pockets fastened with an envelope closure. There's a hidden-zip security pocket, again placed on the chest, that offers more secure storage for small valuables like cash, cards or keys.
The arms are gusseted, providing more fabric to add mobility and enhance freedom of movement, making it suitable for various outdoor activities or even doing bits of DIY around the house.
