What are the Vidda Pro Ventilated Trousers?
Building on the colossal success of the original Vidda Pro Trousers, the Vidda Pro Ventilated Trousers are designed to provide the same durable, reliable and comfortable experience as the originals, but with added ventilation and an updated fit.
What are they made of?
Like the originals, the Vidda Pro Ventilated's use Fjallraven's own G-1000 Eco to make up the majority of the trouser. This fabric uses 65% recycled polyester and 35% organic cotton to provide a trouser with exceptional durability, abrasion resistance, weather resistance and comfort. Even without wax added, this fabric is mosquito-proof and highly wind resistant. Double-layered pieces of G-1000 Eco are used over the shoulders and seat for added durability and weather resistance. To increase comfort and freedom of movement, Fjallraven use their Stretch fabric in the crotch of the trousers.
What are the features?
As the name of the trousers suggests, their main feature is the new ventilation options. Zipped vents on either leg stretch from the hip to the knee and offer incredible ventilation when working hard or when the conditions change. Other features include large leg pockets with buttoned flaps, one of which contains a stretchy mesh pocket, a knife pocket on the right-hand leg, an axe loop on the waist, two hand pockets, gear loops on the waist, pre-shaped knees with openings for knee pads (not included) and lastly lower leg straps and poppers to adjust the volume.
How do they fit?
They feature a slimmer, more tapered fit than the original Vidda Pro's, however thanks to the stretchy gusset around the crotch and articulation in the knees, they still feel just as comfortable.
