What are they made of?
Haglöfs' specialised Climatic™ fabric is what makes these pants so durable. With a rugged two-way stretch, the Bluesign® approved material contains recycled polyamide and elastane that is tightly woven to create effective wind and weather resistance. It feels smooth and soft on the skin for comfort, with a matte finish that looks smart and sleek - who said you can't be stylish in the outdoors?
What are their features?
The PFC free durable water repellent (DWR) creates a barrier to help protect you from nasty weather.
Zippered side ventilation encourages improved airflow and releases excess heat easily, keeping you comfortable to help you perform at your best. Trouser vents are a fantastic feature for all mountain activities, as they offer quick and reliable solutions to regulating body temperature when you're working up a sweat - simply unzip them when you're feeling a little too warm, and zip them back up once you've cooled off.
Small zippered pockets are placed across the design strategically, so they do not interfere with other clothing or equipment, allowing you to easily store and access small trail necessities such as snacks, a phone or GPS.
The waistband is elastic and adjustable, adding flexibility around the mid-section to improve freedom of movement on tougher ascents and long distance routes. Belt loops also offer the option for a belt if preferred.
Fabric reinforcements are placed at high wear areas such as the knees, seat and instep, offering better durability and lengthening the lifespan of these trousers, so they can survive a beating from rocks and rough terrain. To finish, the trousers have a boot hook to help the hems stay in place, with adjustments to fit them properly around chunky hiking boots.
