What are the Slipstream Trail Tights?
They're durable, low-bulk leggings designed primarily for mountain running, however versatile enough for a range of fast-paced mountain activities. Whether fastpacking, trail running, fast-hiking, or even working out at the gym, they feel comfy, supportive and breathable for extensive wear.
What are they made of?
These leggings are primarily made with Carvico, constructed using ECONYL® nylon yarns. ECONYL® yarns are made from nylon waste, including fishing nets, old carpets and nylon industrial waste, which would otherwise be disregarded to landfills and pollute the Earth.
This material boasts the same properties as new nylon. It's durable, smooth on the skin and unrestrictive with a reduced environmental impact.
Behind the knees, Apex-Dry Mesh panels help to wick away moisture and regulate temperature when working up a sweat.
What are their features?
Low profile flatlock seams help to reduce bulk and prevent the stitching from chafing and rubbing uncomfortably on the skin - ideal for longer routes or milder days in the mountains.
These leggings have a stretchy waistband that can be easily adjusted using the internal waist drawcord to optimise the fit without adding excessive weight or bulk.
Surprisingly, these running tights even come with pockets! There's a discreet side pocket, and a rear zipped pocket for more valuable items like keys or a mobile phone, whilst the rear gel shot pocket does what it says on the tin.
Ankle zippers at the bottom of each leg make these leggings easy to put on or take off and allow you to accommodate different types of footwear to suit your activity, whether fast hiking in bulkier boots or trail running with lightweight shoes.
The Slipstream Trail Tights are finished with reflective detailing that gives you extra visibility in poor or low-light conditions and come in a next-to-skin fit.
