With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

The Montane Prism jacket has been in their range for as long as I can remember, it really is one of those essential bits of kit that every outdoor enthusiast should have in their wardrobe. It is such a versatile jacket that can be used as a warm mid layer in freezing conditions or as a lightweight outer jacket when you are moving fast in cooler temperatures.
Thanks to the Pertex Microlight rip-stop outer fabric and the high quality Primaloft synthetic filling the Prism has amazing water resistance and is completely windproof. Montane have selected 40g Primaloft Silver ECO filling to provide warmth yet is light enough to worn when active in cool conditions. This brilliant filling simply refuses to absorb water, dries exceptionally quickly and can be packed down repeatedly without losing performance. Montane have placed an additional layer of filling in front of and behind the pockets to give this vital area a total of 80g insulation.
Montane's own PEAQ Synthetic lining is comfortable next to the skin and is breathable and quick drying to enhance comfort. The whole jacket has a slim fit with fully articulated sleeves with low profile cuffs that seal nicely around the wrists yet can be pulled up to aid cooling. I've raved about Montane's hoods before and the one fixed to the Prism jacket is no exception; fully helmet compatible and adjustable with a wired peak yet still comfortable when you are lid-less and it can be rolled away when not required. In fact the whole jacket can be stuffed into it's own right hand pocket for easy storage or for use as a pillow.
The Prism is aimed squarely at climbers and mountaineers but would suit just about anyone looking for the ultimate lightweight do it all insulated jacket; it is also the choice of many UK Mountain Rescue teams where it is used and abused in the harshest conditions.
Weight: 418g
Filling: Primaloft Silver ECO 40g with double layer over pockets.
