What is the Venturesafe EXP34?
The Venturesafe is designed for those who are travelling for weeks, months or even years of adventures. It features 106 litres (yes, 106!) of storage, cut-resistant fabrics, RFID protection, puncture-proof zips and much, much more. Yes, you pay a little extra for the bag itself due to Pacsafe's security-conscious approach, but it's far cheaper than having to replace a laptop!
What is it made of?
The key to the Venturesafe's high level of security is in its fabrics. It's made using a 300D polyester with stainless steel mesh placed behind; this prevents most blades simply slicing through the fabric and opportunists accessing your kit. Don't worry, Pacsafe have lined the inside of the bag with a soft polyester to stop your laptop/tablet getting scratched.
What are its features?
The Venturesafe's zips are puncture-resistant and lockable, further increasing security, even when you're not near the bag. Pacsafe even includes a stainless steel cable that can be looped around a stationary object (table or chair, for example) to keep it firmly in place.
Aside from all the techy security stuff, the Venturesafe is just a nice, well-made bag that doesn't look any different from a regular travel bag. It features external attachment points for bulky items such as a jacket or sleeping bag, external compression straps to secure the load if not fully packed, an external transparent pocket for your ID and plenty of internal pockets for all you organisation nerds. A set of sturdy wheels and various grab handles make it easy to transport around the airport.
