What are the X-Ultra 360 GTX Shoes?
The X-Ultra 360 GTX Shoes are do-it-all waterproof hiking shoes inspired by the best-selling X-Ultra family and designed with a low cut for a lighter feel. They feature reliable Gore-Tex® technology and are incredibly versatile to suit different adventures and terrains.
What are they made of?
Upper: The PFCec-free welded upper is constructed with synthetic textile and up to 50% recycled material to reduce environmental impact. It's lightweight and incredibly durable to withstand bumps and scrapes in rugged environments.
Lining: A textile lining feels smooth and helps to keep weight and bulk low. It's durable and breathable enough to help prevent sweat build-up inside the shoe.
Midsole: The midsole is made with EnergyCell, a high-performance EVA foam that absorbs shock to help reduce impact on solid ground.
Outsole: The Contagrip® All-Terrain rubber outsoles are versatile and virtually indestructible. They provide ample traction on different terrains, whether a soft hill or rocky slope and feature a unique, two-part lug pattern.
What are their features?
Gore-Tex® technology offers reliable waterproof protection whilst providing breathability to help prevent sweat and condensation from building up inside the shoes.
A moulded Ortholite® sockliner increases comfort for longer distances. The built-in Advanced Chassis is embedded into the outsole to provide lateral support and additional underfoot protection. This insert also delivers optimal mobility and flexibility for precision and comfort.
SensiFit™ technology holds the foot in place to enhance fit, precision and overall feel, alleviating excess tension in the feet.
A Quicklace™ system minimises lace-up time. You can tighten the laces with one swift pull and secure them with the little tab. There's a small lace pocket that keeps the lace cord neatly tucked away when not in use.
Protective toe caps stop toes from getting smashed or crushed against rocks or debris, while finally, a protective mudguard also helps to keep you sheltered from the elements.
