What is it made from?
Insulation: The Elevate Hoodie uses 60g of 100% recycled PrimaLoft® Bio™ Black Insulation that provides reliable warmth and thermal efficiency even when wet.
Being recycled, PrimaLoft® Bio™ uses less raw materials to create and emits dramatically less carbon during its production than fibres made from polyester. It's lightweight, highly packable, breathable and offers a superior warmth-to-weight ratio.
Highly durable and built to last, PrimaLoft® Bio™ returns to materials found in nature only when exposed to marine, wastewater, and landfill environments – reducing the long-term impact of microplastics in those environments. PrimaLoft® Bio™ can be chemically recycled again and again, while maintaining the same high performance – which means the fibres are ready for the future of circularity. It's also PFA, PFC-Free and bluesign® approved for some extra eco-credentials.
Outer: The Elevate Hoodie's outer shell is a robust 70D nylon fabric that has a durable four-way stretch for an excellent range of mobility. It's treated with an innovative Empel DWR for permanent water resistance, encourging rain and snow to bead off the fabric without soaking in.
Empel DWR's uses uniform polymers that individually wrap each of the fabric's fibres with a protective molecular bonded water-repellent shield. This creates a super-hydrophobic exterior to the material that provides 10 times more protection than regular DWR's. This treatment also enhances the breathability and softness of the material, all while being water, solvent and PFA/PFC free!
Empel DWR's are hurricane chamber tested for reassurance that they can withstand real-world use. They also won't wear out or ever need to be reapplied as the water resistance is hyper-fused to the actual fibres of the fabric.
Lining: The lining of the Elevate Hoodie is made from 100% recycled stretch polyester. It feels soft next to the skin and offers lasting comfort, freedom of movement and good breathability.

A two-way YKK® front zip offers plenty of ventilation options should you start to work up a sweat when the going gets tough. Two-way zips are also great for technical or steep ascents, as they allow you to unzip the bottom half for more flexibility around the waist and hips.
For storage, there are two zipped hand pockets, ideal for keeping trail snacks, gloves and a buff close to hand. A single zipped chest pocket provides a secure space for storing more valuable items such as a mobile phone and GPS device.
