What is the Hallin Hoodie?
It's a lightweight, softshell hoodie designed for intense or fast-paced mountain adventures like fastpacking, hiking and scrambling.
What is it made of?
The Hallin is made with TecWEAVE™ - a wind-resistant, stretchy, durable double-weave nylon. This material has a smooth outer face and a brushed back for maximum next-to-skin comfort, should you wear a vest or t-shirt underneath. It's treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to enhance weather protection by encouraging light rain and snow to bead off instead of soaking in. However, please note this won't make it fully waterproof.
What are its features?
This jacket has a grown-on, elastane-bound hood that draws the material closer to your face for increased weather protection and temperature regulation.
A reversed centre-front zip helps to minimise the risk of the fastening catching or snagging as you move while providing ventilation when needed.
Two large hand pockets are ideal for stowing essentials like a mobile phone, GPS, trail snacks or energy gels. Each pocket features a mesh lining which can also work well as additional ventilation if you leave them open to draw the air in.
A semi-elasticated hem and cuffs cinch in the edges to prevent wind chill and reduce bulk if you need to layer a waterproof shell over the top quickly.
