What is the S/F Cave Tote?
This stylish yet practical tote bag is part of the exciting Specialized Fjallraven collaboration.
It's designed to fit inside the S/F Cool Cave bike pannier. Still, it works just as well as a standalone accessory for everyday use, whether heading to university, grocery shopping, or even visiting the beach during summer.
What is it made of?
The S/F Cave Tote is made with Fjallraven's very own G1000® Heavy Duty Eco S material. Bit of a mouthful, right? To break it down, overall, it's a much more durable version of the standard G1000® (which is already incredibly tough, might I add) and made with recycled polyester and organic cotton - hence the 'Eco' part.
Greenland Wax impregnates both sides of the material to create next-level durability. You can use this bag every day or for biking in more rugged terrain without it looking shabby and deteriorating quickly, making it even more sustainable as you won't need to buy replacements regularly!
The 'S' stands for 'smooth' - this particular version of G1000® Heavy Duty fabric uses a finer weave and is slightly lighter than standard Heavy Duty Eco to give it a much nicer handle. It feels comfortable to carry when wearing more delicate clothing, as it's not too abrasive and rough as it rubs against the skin.
What are its features?
There are two handles at the top of the bag, giving you the option to carry the tote by hand. Alternatively, an adjustable shoulder strap allows you to sling the bag over your shoulder for added comfort if you're walking a longer distance.
An expandable recycled nylon cinch closure helps to keep contents in place while providing extra packing space when needed.
Inside, you also have a zippered pocket within the cinch section to organise and separate smaller valuables from bulkier belongings.
As mentioned earlier, this tote bag slides perfectly into the S/F Cool Cave to create a modern storage system for your two-wheeled adventures.
