What is the Gecko WP 1+?
Picture a sweet little gecko hugging you around the waist (in a nice way...), though maybe a little bigger. Well, what if I told you that's what this waist pack feels like? Unless you're scared of geckos, then please, forget that scenario.
It's a super lightweight waist pack that sits securely around the waist to provide sufficient storage for short or fast-paced adventures, whether dog walking, jogging, hiking or trail running.
What is it made of?
Primarily this belt pack is made out of 70D Raptor Cross Lite, which is super lightweight yet highly durable to withstand regular use in various conditions and terrain. Stretch pockets are constructed with Raptor Flex Four-way 40:30, offering plenty of flexibility to accommodate different items and water bottles without unnecessary weight and bulk.
The harness uses Contact Air Mesh Plus to provide extra ventilation where you need it most. Contact Air Mesh Plus is light, durable and highly breathable, helping to regulate temperature and reduce sweat build-up around contact points.
All these materials are treated with Polygiene® - an odour control treatment that helps to keep the textiles fresher for longer, meaning you can even get away with washing it less - win-win!
What are its features?
Overall, the Gecko WP 1+ has a stability control construction that helps prevent the pack from bouncing and wobbling around, which is pretty annoying if you're running or heading on a relaxing walk.
The Active Strap ensures the harness will close securely and offers a quick release when needed.
Stretchy side pockets allow you to expand the storage while minimising bounce to keep you comfortable as you move.
There's a central compartment for bulkier items like trail snacks, a wallet, doggy bags or headphones, fastened with a zip closure to ensure everything is safe inside, when closed, of course.
An internal sleeve pocket and key clip give you a little extra security for smaller valuables like keys and loose cash.
