What is the Farden Carry-On Pack?
It's a 40-litre travel bag with numerous functional features and pockets to make your trip hassle-free. Perfectly sized for carry-on convenience, this versatile pack even comes with a separate crossbody bag for your travel essentials and a dedicated quick-access laptop pouch.
What is it made from?
Outer: The Farden's outer is constructed from a super tough 500D recycled polyamide material. This exceptionally durable outer helps protect your belongings and allows the bag to withstand a lifetime of bumps and scrapes whilst travelling.
The material features a water-resistant TPE laminate for light protection from rain, snow and damp ground. However please note this does not make the bag fully waterproof.
Fjallraven's recycled polyamide fabric is responsibly created from yarn scraps, unusable second-quality fabrics, and fabric offcuts. It retains the same exceptional durability and performance as virgin polyamide. It helps reduce the use of raw materials and non-renewable sources while reducing air, water, and soil contamination.
Lining: The lining is constructed from a tough 210D material, which is made from the same recycled polyamide fabric as the bag's outer. This material has a smooth finish and features a PU coating for light water resistance to further protect the bag's contents.
What backsystem does it use?
The Farden features a simple fixed backsystem for no-fuss carrying comfort. The back panel and straps are constructed from breathable air mesh for comfort in a variety of climates. The shoulder straps feature adjustable load lifters to help distribute the weight of the pack, keeping it close to your back to ensure a comfortable carry with varying loads.

The Farden Carry-On Pack features 40 litres of space and plenty of practical pockets to keep you organised whilst travelling for work or pleasure.
A large zippered compartment provides plenty of space for spare clothes and more bulky items. This compartment has zippered mesh dividers to help you easily organise your kit.
To the rear, there is a separate, easily accessible laptop compartment for quick and convenient storage, making it effortless to whip out at airports for security checks or to catch up on emails when you find the time.
The front compartment features two secure zipped pockets and two sleeve pockets for keeping smaller items safe, such as your passport, charging cables, power bank and snacks. A soft fleece-lined top pocket offers a secure haven for sunglasses, reading glasses and other breakable essentials. A generous side pocket provides the perfect home for your water bottle and even sits flat when not in use.
There is also a separate crossbody bag ideal for keeping all your travel essentials, such as your passport, boarding pass, and wallet, safe. It also eliminates the need to take a separate handbag for quick trips and excursions while you're away.
Side compression straps help cinch in dead space to stop items from moving around in transit and keep the load stable whilst carrying the pack across different terrains.
Two side handles and two top grab handles allow you to easily manoeuvre the pack in and out of the car, overhead locker and around the airport. There is even a trolley sleeve on the back that allows you to slide it onto the Fardon Roller for effortless transportation around the airport or when you might need a break from carrying the pack.
The Farden is finished with functional details such as daisy chain loops on the front so you can attach additional gear to the front of the pack. Lockable zippers help keep your belongings secure, whilst an ID window allows you to fill out your contact information should you become separated whilst travelling.
